Detailed Information
Originally opening its doors in 1970, Cave Creek Museum’s mission is to preserve and interpret the national resources and cultural heritage of the northern Sonoran Desert.  Guests can learn about the local archaeology, Native American history, mining, ranching, and military histories of the Cave Creek area. Observe the Golden Reef Stamp Mill and Tramway in operation every second Saturday of the month at 1:30, one of the only operating stamp mills still within its original mining district, or bring your kids to our Kiwanis Family Sundays events every second weekend of the month from 2-4 pm.
In addition to the regular hours on Wednesday thru Friday we are open every second Saturday and Sunday of the month: 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm.
